Galvanise was established by the founding directors in order to invest, alongside like-minded individuals, in early-stage, high-growth businesses within a specific area. We have attracted both investors and companies of a similar mindset.
The founding directors Nicholas Jones, Harry Weber-Brown and Devina Paul are highly experienced professionals with many years of experience in the digital economy.

Meet the team
FOUNDING partner AND CHAIRMAN
Nick Jones
Nick been working at the cutting edge of online media since 2000. As part of the launch team at Goto.com, Nick helped to pioneer search marketing in the UK and in Europe. Nick held senior client service and strategic positions at Overture Services Ltd and Yahoo! before moving to the then I Spy Search as Managing Director in January 2006. Over the subsequent 5 years Nick led I Spy’s growth from 5 to over 50 employees and established I Spy as one of the UK’s leading independent digital marketing agencies. Having worked on a number of consultancy and advisory projects in the TMT space, Nick established Galvanise LTD in April 2013.

Devina Paul
Devina has spent her career to-date in the advertising, media and marketing world, initially cutting her teeth within some of the biggest marketing/communications networks in the world, including Interpublic, Dentsu Aegis and Omnicom. The last 10 years has seen her hold many senior finance positions, in particular working with start-ups to build sustainable growth and becoming sale-ready. She has overseen several sale processes. Most notably the sales of I Spy to Dentsu Aegis, Encore Digital Media to Next 15 and most recently Aquila Insight to Denstu Aegis. Through her wealth of experience she understands the importance of finance and operations in determining the success of any business. Devina is also an early-stage investor and sits on the boards of several Galvanise start-ups.

Harry Weber-Brown
Harry Weber-Brown has a wealth of experience focusing on business development, building and training teams of digital professionals and consultancy in the digital sector. He has worked with organisations including the BBC, Reuters, Ask Jeeves, the NHS and NSPCC on the development of their digital services and planning and delivering their traffic driving activities. Harry has worked with public and private sector businesses, media agencies, consultancies and start-up projects. He is an expert in managing digital services, optimising user experiences, project management and new digital developments.
